Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I audit a class?

A. Yes. Interested students may choose one class to audit. The flat fee is $200. This allows students to sit in class and participate in class discussion and lectures. It does not allow students to receive grades or feedback on assignments, and no course credit will be earned.

Q. Can I take a few classes that interest me without pursuing the Associate of Ministry degree?

A. Yes. Students in our non-degree seeking program are able to take a total of 4 courses a la carte. Regular course tuition and fees apply. Students will receive grades and feedback on assignments and will earn the full course credit for the classes they take.

Q. Is there anyone my age at Wave Leadership College?

A. Yes. The student body at Wave Leadership College is quite diverse. There are a wide range of students from high school aged, all the way up to seasoned professional mid-successful career.

Q. How often do classes meet?

A. Each Wave Leadership College class meets one day a week. Our convenient schedule provides enough options and flexibility to work around your life. Each class is on a 16-week semester schedule.

Q. Will I be able to pay for tuition in installments?

A. Yes. We offer the option to make payments in four separate installments each semester. We strongly encourage all students to contact the Wave Leadership College Financial Aid office to see if they are eligible for tuition assistance. If you haven’t already submitted your FAFSA, it is important to do so right away.

Q. How much homework should I expect?

A. College courses require intentional time set aside for reading, studying, and working on assignments.  Your instructor will provide you with a syllabus at the start of each semester’s class. This syllabus will be your map of assignments and reading due throughout the semester. You should plan to devote a minimum of 2 hours per week, outside of class time, to each individual class you are taking.

Q. What is the class experience like?

A. Wave Leadership College offers you the opportunity to earn your Associate of Ministry degree under the influence of caring professors and a supportive staff. Your Biblical and theological studies, general education classes, and professional development electives are all presented with a Biblical perspective and in classes with an average student-faculty ratio of 11:1. All of our classes are taught in a face to face environment. Each class is offered one day a week in a 2 ½ hour time period, on a 16-week semester schedule.
